Bus
The 6.1 bus between Derby and Bakewell stops at Idridghay. The full timetable is found here.
The bus runs along the Wirksworth Road (B5203).
There is no bus service through Ashleyhay. To get to Ashleyhay, leave the bus at Callow Park and walk up the hill.
Train
The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway runs the full length of the valley from Wirksworth to Duffied with a connection at Duffied to the main line. There is a railway station at Idridgehay.
