Hello and welcome to the Parish website for Idridgehay, Alport and Ashleyhay. This website is being developed by the Parish Council to support the local community. We need your support to make the content a valued resource for the Parish. You may live in the Parish, you may be visiting or you may just be passing through. If there is any information you believe should be on this website please email the websitehelp.
The Parish sits within a Special Landscape Area (SLA). It is acknowledged as having one of the finest landscapes outside of the Peak National Park. Perhaps the best way to explore the area is to take a walk along the many paths throughout the Parish or a trip on the Ecclesbourne Railway. From Idridgehay station you can exploree the surrounding landscape by following Eadric’s Way.
The next meeting of Idridgehay & Alton and Ashleyhay Parish Council will be taking place on Wednesday 8th January 2025 at St. James’ The Great Church, Idridgehay. Members of the public and the press are welcome to attend the meeting and raise matters concerning the Parish. The documents for the meeting can be found here
Each year the smaller authority prepares an Annual Governance and
Accountability Return (AGAR). The AGAR has been published with this notice.
It will not be reviewed by the appointed auditor, since the smaller authority has
certified itself as exempt from the appointed auditor’s review.
Any person interested has the right to inspect and make copies of the AGAR,
the accounting records for the financial year to which it relates and all books,
deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers, receipts and other documents relating to
those records must be made available for inspection by any person interested.
